SOCIAL EVENTS:

1) Group Photograph

The group photograph will be taken on the Weser dyke on the way to the conference dinner

Wednesday, 18:30

2) Conference Dinner

The conference dinner will take place at the Seute Deern, a three-master wooden barque from 1919, which nowadays serves as a restaurant. It is located in close walking distance to the conference hotel. For accompanying spouses, extra tickets for the conference dinner can be purchased at the registration desk for 50 Euro.

3) Visit to Jacobs University and Fraunhofer MEVIS

There will be a bus bringing us to Bremen to visit the Jacobs University campus and Fraunhofer MEVIS. At Jacobs University, there will be a campus tour and some demos. It will take approximately 1 hour. At Fraunhofer MEVIS, there will be more demos and some snacks/refreshments. This second part will take approximately 3 hours. Departure for return to Bremerhaven is scheduled for 21:15.

Thursday, 16:00 - 22:00

4) Harbor Boat Tour

The final event of the workshop is a boat tour through the Bremerhaven harbor. It has the longest connected dock world-wide.
